WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE SCHEDULE

Lorne Humphreys and a group of Moose Jaw businessmen purchased the Winnipeg Warriors from the previous owners Albert DeFehr, Marsden Fenwick and Bob Cumming. They moved the franchise to the Mill City. The Warriors are playing in the 2,750 seat Civic Centre.

The Edmonton Oilers ended their involvement with the Kamloops franchise. Kamloops renamed the club Blazers. It became community-owned.

* The fourth game of the schedule, Doug Trapp set a new club record, getting seven assists in the game.
