OBITUARY - KUNTZ, Darryl Vaughn
Sylvan Lake, Alberta
KUNTZ - Darryl Vaughn, passed away suddenly on June 5, 2001 at the age of 38 years. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Loretta Kuntz; his son, Devin; sisters Eunice (Bill) Rennick, Sam (Del) Dunlop, Janice (Simon) Lipp, Francine (Sebastian) Deiana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darryl was originally from Regina. He grew up there and played hockey for many years with Regina Minor Hockey and later with the Regina Pats, (Goaltender during the 1981-1982 season). He relocated to Sylvan Lake, Alberta, where he worked in many different jobs and was also actively involved in hockey. Darryl led his life his way and enjoyed every day.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 11, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Cathedral, 3125-13th Avenue, Regina with Rev. Louis Kubash presiding. A service of remembrance will be held at Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sylvan Lake Arena. Flowers gratefully declined.
