WHL - WILD FINISH in the

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Last games of the Season:
It had to be one of the wildest finishes ever in the WHL East Conference. By the time the evening was over, only 1 point separated 5th to 8th place. Kootenay dropped from 5th to 8th. It was Saskatoon finishing in 5th with 83 points, Brandon 6th with 83 points (Saskatoon had 40 wins to Brandon's 39); Regina Pats finished with 82 points, Kootenay was in 8th (Regina Pats had 37 wins to Kootenay's 36). Regina Pats will play Moose Jaw Warriors in the first round of the play-offs.

Regina, Saskatchewan It will be a dream match-up for Southern Saskatchewan hockey fans as the Regina Pats and the Moose Jaw Warriors are set to clash in the first round of the 2012 WHL Playoffs. The Pats will be making a return to the post season after having missed the WHL Playoffs the last three years, while Moose Jaw was knocked off by eventual WHL Champion Kootenay in the first round last year. The Warriors enter the playoffs as the Eastern Conference # 2 seed while the Pats come in as the #7 seed. The two teams split the regular season series with identical 4-2-2 records.

GM#3 – Tuesday March 27th Warriors @ Regina - 7:00pm

GM#4 – Wednesday March 28th Warriors @ Regina - 7:00pm

GM#5 – Friday March 30th Regina @ Moose Jaw * if necessary – 7:00pm

GM#6 – Saturday March 31st Moose Jaw @ Regina 7:00pm * if necessary – 7:00pm

GM#7 – Monday April 2nd Regina @ Moose Jaw * if necessary – 7:00pm
