Regina, Saskatchewan - J. Allan Shore - It is with great sadness that the family announces his peaceful passing on March 3, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents, Aubrey and Margaret Shore and daughter, Beverly. Allan is survived by his wife, Doreen; daughter, Brenda (Daryl) Schaffer; son, Brian (Judy) Shore; grandchildren, Jonathan (Janelle) Schaffer, Adam Schaffer, Catherine Shore (Brendan Davidowich), Christopher Shore and great-grandson Jayten. He will also be missed by his sister, Audrey (George) Dowler; brother-in-law, Bert Kuffner as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK with Judy Beck officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Broadway United Church Building Fund, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK. Paragon Funeral & Cremation Services entrusted with arrangements. 359-7776

Further - taken from Funeral Memorial Card: Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, September 30, 1931. He attended Albert Public School and Scott Collegiate. In August 1950 joined the Canadian Army and spent three years as a parachutist. From 1953 to 1974 he spent the years working for various print related companies. In 1974 Allen opened his own printing business called Adventure Printing Limited. Allan worked until 2000 when he retired and gave the business to his daughter and her husband.

Allan married his wife Doreen in 1952 and they raised three children, two girls and a boy. In December of 2006 they lost their youngest daughter Beverley due to a car accident.

Allan has belonged to many Clubs and Associations over the years. These included: Royal Canadian Legion; Plains Toastmaster Club; Regina Chamber of Commerce; Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association; Broadway United Church; Saskatchewan Graphic Arts Association; Regina Better Business Bureau; Regina Pats Hockey Club; Rotary Club; Wascana Country Club; Callie Seniors Curling Club.
