October 23, 2012

The Pats open up a four game road trip tonight in Red Deer, when they take on the Rebels, puck drop at the Enmax Centrium is 7:00pm.

The Pats and Rebels met once earlier this season in Regina with the Pats taking the first meeting on the strength of Chandler Stephenson’s goal with only a few seconds left on the clock to win 3-2.  Both penalty kills came up big with the Rebels fending off eight Pats advantages and the Pats killing six Rebel advantages.  The Pats come in after wrapping up their home stand with a loss while the Rebels come in having taken three of four points in a home and home with Kootenay.  Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show starting at 6:35.
