Parts taken from Regina Pats Web Site: Ten games ago, the Pats and Ice went head to head in their first meeting of 2012-13.  Though the Pats found a strong start, goaltender Mackenzie Skapski kept the Pats off the board and gave the Ice the opportunity for an eventual 4-1 win.  Sam Reinhart had two markers for Kootenay in the victory.  The Ice are coming off a pair of losses to Kamloops and Red Deer, while the Pats opened their four game road trip with a loss in Red Deer.  Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show beginning at 6:35.
