SHUT-OUTS LETHBRIDGE 4-0


Tonight makes the second meeting of the season between the Pats and Hurricanes.  It is Lethbridge's first visit to the Brandt Centre. In the previous meeting Lethbridge came out on top with a convincing 6-1 victory over Regina Pats.  Colten Mayor scored Pats alone goal while Jamal Watson had a pair of goals for the Hurricanes.   Tonight's game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game at 6:3t p.m.

Penalties and not enough shots hurt the Pats last night at Saskatoon.  It will be the last home game before they take their western trip into British Columbia.

First Period:   No Scoring

Penalties:   Lethbridge - Albing Blomqvist (Roughing), Regina - Tye Hand (Roughing) 6:06; Regina - Adam Rossignol (Tripping) 8:36, Lethbridge - Brady Ramsay (Roughing) 12:10

Second Period:   Regina Pats were the first to score with Dyson Stevenson at the right side of the net, tipped in Adam Brooks shot at 8:13, also assisted by Colten Mayor. Pats went up 2-0 on a power play when Colby Williams takes a snap shot to the goal and off Stevenson into the net, with Morgan Klimchuk assisting. Pats went up 3-0 as Stevenson was going to the net and scores his hat trick on Adam Brooks shot at 17:31, also assisted by Colten Mayor.

Third Period:   Regina Pats go up 4-0, when Dyson Stevenson scored a rebound, back hand shot on Morgan Klimchuk's shot at 6:22, also assisted by  Sylvegard.
