Regina Pats Conclude Road Trip in Kelowna
Pats take on Rockets with points in five straight games

Parts taken from Regina Pats Web Site - The Pats conclude their B.C. Division road trip with their yearly matchup with the Kelowna Rockets. Last season’s contest saw the Rockets grab a 3-2 victory in overtime at the Brandt Centre. The Rockets’ Colten Martin had a goal and an assist in the win while Morgan Klimchuk picked up one of the Pats’ two goals. The Pats head into Kelowna after a big win over Kamloops Wednesday while the Rockets have lost two in a row. Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 8:35 p.m. CST.
The Pats play the final game of their tour through the B.C. Division tonight. The annual swing during the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina started in Vancouver and Victoria before the second leg in Prince George, Kamloops and finally Kelowna. The Pats have points in every game on the trip with a 2-0-0-2 record. Over this road trip, the Pats have been outshot 145-79 in four games, but have managed to win twice and force shootouts in the two losses. The Pats have four goals later than the ten minute mark of the third period including a last minute tying goal, final minute game winning goal and an overtime winner.
