Marc McCoy and Darian Henry join the Pats' lineup as they take on Prince Albert

Parts from the Regina Pats Web Site: The Pats and Raiders come together for their fourth meeting of the 2012-13 season.  With Prince Albert taking the previous two contests by 5-3 and 8-2 scores, the Pats sit 1-2-0-0 against PA this year.  Colten Mayor leads the Pats with four points (three of them goals) against the Raiders while Mike Winther and Anthony Bardaro each have five points against Regina.  The Pats look to break out of a seven game slump while the Raiders are coming off a 7-0 win over the Tigers.  Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m.

After 10 minutes, are we seeing a new Pats team, yes, it was a start of a great turn around.  No penalties, no score, shots even at 4-4. An attendance of 3,544 watched Regina Pats defeat 1st place Prince Albert 3-0 and Matt Hewitt gets his second shut out.

First Period: Both teams hit the post, but the visitors had a glorious chance with only two minutes remaining in the period as Josh Morrissey was stopped by Pats goaltender Matt Hewitt out of possession. When was the last time Pats came out of a period where both clubs had no penalties! 

Penalties:  No Penalties

Score: Prince Albert 0 - Regina 0; Shots: Prince Albert 10 - Regina 5 

Second Period: Regina Pats finally score. It was Morgan Klimchuk with a back hand pass to Lane Scheidl who hit the post and Trent Ouellete scored on the rebound at 14:30. Just over two minutes later Pats had a chance to go up, but Colten Mayor hit the post.

Third Period: Regina Pats go up 2-0 as Morgan Klimchuk passed to Marc McCoy at the middle of the ice and scored at 2:09, also assisted by Lane Scheidl.  Pats went up 3-0! It was Adam Rossign scoring on a back hand shot at 8:28, assisted by Jack Rodewald and Colby Williams.
