Regina Pats Embark on Alberta Road Swing 
  Pats Lost 2-0 over Calgary

The Pats and Hitmen come together for their second meeting of the campaign.  Calgary took the teams’ previous contest in Regina 4-1, with two of the goals coming on an empty net.  The Pats visit the Scotiabank Saddledome for the first time this season, Regina won both games in Calgary last season.  Colten Mayor leads the Pats with a goal against the Hitmen as a member of the Red Deer Rebels while Brooks Macek tallied three points in Calgary’s win over the Pats in November. Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m. MST

An Attendance  of  8,474 at the Scotia Bank Saddledome.  How many power play chances does the Regina Pats need (10 chances and they could not score)!  Tonight's game was the fourth shut out in arrow for the Pats - Saskatoon 9-0, 7-0; Prince Albert 3-0, and Calgary 2-0. 

First Period: Early in the period Calgary were all over the Pats as they passed the puck around.  Greg Chase was aloud to skate right in and scored on a screen shot at 1:26, assisted by Cody Sylvester.

Second Period:  No Scoring - To date 11 Power Plays, no goals.  Regina - 8, Calgary - 3 Chances

Third Period:  Regina pats did every thing but score.  Just 48 seconds into the period, Calgary's Vertan had a break-a-way.  Matt Hewitt came out of the net hit a man, came back into the net and mad a big save.  In the last two minutes, Pats got a power play and later pull goaltender Matt Hewitt, but it back fired.  Calgary dumped the puck down the ice, it cam out from the back boards and Cody Sylvester scored with 41 seconds remaining.
