BRANDON - 5 vs. REGINA PATS - 3

PLAY-OFFS - GAME ONE

First: Period:  Every thing went the visitors way, as they scored four times in the opening period. Three minutes into the period, Regina Pats Chandler Stephenson hit the goal post. Brandon came right back as Jayce Hawryluk scored at 3:05 over the glove side, assisted by Jessie Gabrielle. Pats got caught on Brandon's second goal, as Wheat Kings had their 1st line out while  Pats had their 4th line.  Jessie Quenneville scored on a rebound at 8:34, assisted by Gabrielle and Hawryluk. Brandon went up 3-0 on a power play, Peter Quenneville scored on a slap shot at 14:36, assisted by Ryan Pilon and Ryan Pulock. Two minutes later a Regina Give away resulted in Brandon's 4th goal, as Ryan Pilon scored on a slap shot to Dawson MacAuley's glove side at 16:46. At that time MacAuley was replaced by Tyler Fuhr.

Penalties: Regina - Bost Leier (Interference) 13:39; Eric Roy (Delay of Game) 17:42

Score: Brandon - 4, Regina - 0; Shots: Regina - 15, Brandon - 13

Second Period:  A Brandon give away along the boards resulted in Pats first goal, as Morgan Klimchuk scored at 3:13, assisted by Chandler Stephenson and Dayden Hunt.  Pats made it closer as Bryan Hunt scored a power play goal at 10:51 on a hard shot, assisted by Boston Leier, and Connor Gay. Brandon went up 5-2 as Ryan Polock scored on a back hand at 16:45, unassisted. Just one minute later Regina came back and Connor Gay scored.  Chandler Stephenson shot on goal and Gay scored on the rebound, also assisted by Zgraggen. With approximately 2 minutes remaining Regina Pats hit their 3rd goal post by Logan McVeay.
