Regina out shot Red Deer 15-4  in the final period, only to give up the only goal Adam Musil scored on a loose puck in front of the net at the 12:46 mark.  The visitors out played the home club in the final period and deserved the win, it was a tough lose  They came out flying in the third period and by the 3 minute mark were out shooting the Rebels 13-1.

In the first period the Pats got a good first shift in the offensive zone but on their first change took a too many men penalty just 31 seconds in. They managed to kill it off with the help of the left post on a Colton Bobyk point shot. There was no scoring and Red Deer out shot Regina 12-7

In the second period Red Deer went up 1-0 as Adm Helewka recieved a pass from Jake DeBrusk at the left boards on a power play.   Scoring from the right face-off circle at 14:59, also assisted by Michael Spacek.   With only 12.6 seconds remaining in the period Adam Brooks took a pass from Lane Zablock at the right Red Deer blue line and skated right down the centre and scored to tie the score at 1-1, assisted by Colby Williams.  Regina out shot Red Deer 11-10

Game attendance was 6,264. It was a real sad way to have to end the Pats season.
